Veterans Record Review ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use veteransrecordreview.com.

Documents You Upload

Your VA records — Blue Button reports, C-Files, service treatment records, and decision letters — are processed entirely within your browser session. We do not store, retain, or transmit your uploaded documents to any server we control. Document text is extracted on your device and sent directly to Anthropic's API solely to generate your analysis report. Anthropic does not retain this content for model training under our API agreement.

Information We Collect

• Payment information: Collected and processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number. Stripe may retain transaction records per their own privacy policy.
• Email address: If you provide your email to receive your report, it is used solely to deliver that report. We do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent.
• Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about page visits, browser type, and general location. This does not include your VA records or personal health information.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate and deliver your VA records analysis report
• To process your payment via Stripe
• To improve the website and analysis tool

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or VA records with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic API — processes document text to generate analysis. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — handles payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — anonymized website traffic analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — website hosting. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

HIPAA Notice

Veterans Record Review is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We strongly recommend you do not include Social Security numbers, financial account information, or the personal information of anyone other than yourself in documents you upload.

Data Retention

Because your documents are processed in-session and not stored on our servers, there is no VA record data to delete after your session ends. Payment transaction records are retained by Stripe per their standard retention policy.

If you have questions about information we hold related to your email or payment, contact us at support@veteransrecordreview.com and we will respond within 5 business days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated effective date.
